A New Perspective

We hope that this new presence on the internet will better serve the arts sector in Wales in the coming years. 04 Aug 2010

The aim is to give greater prominence and exposure to artists and arts organisations as well as being a source of information on the arts in Wales.

Our new website will also allow the public to learn more about us as an organisation and about the work that we do.

Arts Directory

We have a new Arts Directory coming soon. This Directory will be more dynamic and accessible than the old Arts Database and be easier to use. It will link up with the artforms to create artform-specific repositories of information including:

Funding advice
Resources
Events
Opportunities

In the mean time it is possible to register to use our website (which will in turn allow you to log in and use the Arts Directory) and sign up for our newsletter.

Users are still encouraged to provide us with details of jobs, opportunities and arts events around Wales. Arts Council of Wales will still endeavour to publicise these notices wherever possible during this transition period and we thank our users for their patience at this time. When our new Arts Directory is up and running, we are sure that everyone will reap the benefits.
