Ronan Devlin (b. 1974, Banbridge, Northern Ireland) is a UK based artist and designer working from his multidisciplinary creative studio Jein Devlin in Conwy, North Wales.

His work, which explores tensions between science, technology and communication, bridges analogue and digital media and embraces various disciplines — moving image, photography and typography.

With a background in graphic design, he works with collaborators including musicians, photographers and programmers. The outcomes range from paper to screen to large scale site-specific installations.

He is currently designer-in-residence at Bangor University’s CoLab, a department which bridges Applied Sciences with their soon to open Pontio arts building, where he is working on a large scale digital installation funded by the Arts Council of Wales. This installation will be the inaugural exhibition at White Box, Pontio’s media gallery in January 2015.

His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.

His creative studio Jein Devlin works on graphic design projects for the cultural sector - books, branding, catalogues, exhibitions, promotional literature, signage systems and web / interactive design. The studio offers free consultation to both individual artists and arts organisations and will assist with budgeting design elements of grant applications (including third party production costs).
