I am interested in the natural world and our role and relationship within it. I welcome the cross fertilsation of ideas which I explore through dance, performance, video, photography and digital media and embrace the unexpected consequential effects of time on place and and the influence of landscape/ environment on our identity.

Through my practice I explore the unconscious shards of history that effects and influence the way we respond and relate to our environment. I am inspired by the transformative enigmatic quality of time. I like being on the brink between two zones, the in between space, suspended moments when the present becomes the past, a point of departure moving towards the future enabling me to refer back to history and understand the present before heading into the unknown. I explore the notion of place and non-place, transitional spaces, temporary space, transportable space and the permanent space. All this and more helps me make sense of the world.
